Seafood Investor Day 2023: – An effective meeting place for the industry
150 participants. 19 companies presenting. 52 meetings held. – A very effective meeting place for the industry and capital market, easily accessible to investors, says Steffen Rødsjø, Partner and Sector Head of Seafood at Arctic Securities.

At the annual Seafood Investor Day hosted by Arctic, as many as 150 participants were brought up to speed on the latest trends within conventional, offshore, and land-based farming.
– Our annual seafood seminar has undoubtedly become a highly effective meeting place for the industry and capital markets. This was our second seminar in Oslo, which is easily accessible for investors, Rødsjø says.

Almost 50 % of the global salmon production and around 90 % of the market value from listed salmon producers were represented at the Seafood Investor Day:
– With so many participants, this was a very interactive day filled with learning, interesting discussions, and networking. I would like to thank all the companies for coming to Oslo and the investors for their participation, he says.

Introduced to new companies
– In my opinion, The Seafood Investor Day is a highly important event for the seafood industry. The presentations sparked even more interest in the sector. As we focused on Iceland and land-based farming this year, our participants were introduced to new and exciting companies, says Runar Meland, Head ECM Sales and Partner in Arctic Securities.

– Also, there were a lot of good conversations during the breaks. I think we managed to create a great meeting place for people in the industry and investors. All in all, I am very happy, Meland adds.
